Never had buffalo leather before; it’s a heavier leather, and quite warm here in the Colorado cool temps. Fit quite well right out of the box; it felt a little stiff at first but is softening/fitting and feeling good after riding with it several times. Definitely worth the price.

This review ends on a positive note even though I was concerned about the jacket due to the lack of my own personal knowledge - but after researching some facts, my concerns were corrected...
I bought this jacket for my boyfriend and it was true-to-size based on the measurements I took from one of his other leather jackets (and it fit him perfectly upon arrival). This was my 1st experience with buffalo leather, so I was concerned about its appearance and texture. Our other leather goods are from Italy and have a very supple feel & smell. This leather in particular was very stiff and had a strong chemical smell, which made me suspect that maybe it was a synthetic material. However, upon closer inspection I was able to confirm that it is, in fact, genuine animal-skin leather and not a lookalike. The chemical smell must've been from the stain/treatment process to achieve the color & distressed look. After applying a good leather-conditioner and wearing it a few times to break it in, he's absolutely IN LOVE with this jacket and it has quickly become his new favorite. He's had it for about 3 weeks and no longer has an odor and the leather has become softer.
I was also pleased with the fast shipping. I was concerned when I realized that is shipped from Pakistan but it only took about a week to arrive so there were no issues there.
I hope this review helps clarify a few things, because the jacket is well worth it!

Nice fitting ,light weight,I did order a size larger that I am, taking advice from a previous review,worked out well. Still going to oil it up give it some roll ups in different directions to give more of a used look.all in all happy with the jacket

Excellent jacket. Sizing was a bit off. By all measurements the xl jacket I ordered should have been right but was very tight in the arms & shoulders. I ended up returning the XL for a XXXL and that fits perfectly. It is a coarse rugged leather that is reinforced well and doubled where it should be for a motorcycle jacket. I like the look and “fit” in the larger size. The jacket will not be enough for a temperature 55° while riding so order larger than normal if you want to layer with a sweatshirt underneath. I’m happy with the larger jacket and service!

My only dislike at this point is that it is not as heavy asi expected.
It will be a good cool weather and summer jacket but I'm sceptical about riding in the low to mid 40 degree temperatures range. I guess time will tell.
It is a nice jacket and I would recommend it. Just keep in mind the temperature range you plan on riding in.

Great jacket. Look and feel are fantastic. I am a 42 Large and the arms and shoulders were a little tight.. Still a good fit, just a bit snug. An XL would be too big, unless you were planning on wearing extra layers underneath. Glad I made the purchase.

I’m really happy with the vintage buffalo leather jacket. Delivery to Australia was surprisingly quick and I was VERY glad that the delivery partner was NOT Australia Post. The fit was as expected, as advertised. The zipper is on the right, as the North Americans would expect (I think) but not as the Australian consumer would expect.
I got some leather conditioner onto it straight away and it took away some of the graininess in the look.
Overall, it looks great, feels great, smells great.

The jacket's fine the customer service was terrible I'm sorry I hate to bad anybody but it took over a month to exchange it after I paid and paid for the return shipping and $20 for restocking and it still took them over a month to get my jacket to me the size chart what I measured I even gave a few inches and it was still too tight never order from them again

Just received this jacket today and was quite impressed with it. The jacket does have a chemical smell but sure after wearing a few times it will go away. I am 5 10 and 210 pounds with a little bigger than I should have stomach and wear an Xl in most jackets and shirts and the Xl fitts real good and would recommend your normal size. I would totally recommend this jacket.

Hate to buy unknown products, but after conditioning , used bee’s wax, aka Obernauf’s LP. The best of the best Saphir Ronovatieur, and some Venitian shoe cream, F’n thing looks (and smells) awesome . Stitches not the best. But for the price. More than 2 Thumbs up.

The jacket is exactly as advertised. Be mindful of the sizing chart, specifically in the chest and the arms. This jacket is solid, good-looking, and fits like a glove, surprisingly warm. It's thick so be prepared to wear and work the leather.

You will have to put mink oil on it and Roll it up and down every which way you can but after it’s all said and done the leather jacket is worth what I paid for it.

Love the fit and feel of the leather. Measurements are quite accurate so I wouldn't size up. The liner is nice as well. The distressed effect it comes with - feels like the dyes are not set hard yet. I preferred less of it so used a damp cloth to even out the color a bit. Like others said - it comes stiff and dry and needs some conditioning. It's really an amazing value for the leather and the style is super cool. Recommend.

I was a little concerned when it arrived. It was in a big envelope, folded up like a cheap T-Shirt. I really expected more for some reason but no big deal. When I unfolded it, it had a very chemical-like smell and felt somewhat like plastic. I hung it on a hangar and rubbed it down with some leather conditioner and in just a couple of days, it was looking like we may be in business. I wore it a few times and realized what an absolute GEM of a jacket I had found! Not too thick, not too thin and the fit was on point! Zippers are top shelf and it's warm enough but not ever hot. I wish the neck was cut down a bit shorter as it tends to interfere with my helmet but overall, I would definitely buy it again and recommend this company to anyone looking for a great jacket at a genuinely fair price!

Bought for my husband for riding. The jacket is high quality and great looking. The reason it is not getting five stars is we thought the lining would be a little thicker for winter riding. That's our fault though. But a sweatshirt can be worn under and it is perfect. The jacket also needs conditioned, it is pretty stiff at first.

I like it. It bothers me that it's supposedly Buffalo leather but the tag says 100% leather. I just hope it's not horse hide. If it were my company I'd make sure ppl new what it was made out of. I'm a blacksmith/farrier and own a boarding facility for horses. I got a XXL it fits well It was snug at first but it almost looks custom now. I've got a 56in chest and a 36in waste so it's definitely tailored well. I own other Buffalo leather jackets and the leather is not like the leather on this jacket. The other 2 are different co.s. overall I like the fit and style but I question the material. We will see.

So I ordered the wrong size the first time, I am XLT and figured an XL would be good enough. Don't be like me, take the time and figure out if the measurements actually fit your frame. I hadn't bothered to look at the shoulders and arms.

The heaviness of the leather , stitching and Just overall value for the money - amazing ! I was extremely skeptical of buying a leather jacket online from pictures. The jacket looks exactly like the picture! I guessed at the size ( ordered late at night and missed seeing size chart ) . It fits so well and feels like an old friend I haven’t seen in years . Absolutely a total skeptic that I could order this on December 12th ( Saturday) and have it delivered on the 24th when it wasn’t even picked up by DHL until the 19th . I must admit after reading so much negative info on leather jacket companies online being a scam - I thought this was too . Boy was I wrong . I received a next day reply to my concerns from a customer service rep - Raxy , who apologized for my concerns and assured me the process would work and if I wasn’t happy they would refund my money without question .
