We started in 2013 with one conviction: that quality leather goods and genuine customer care should come together, not at the expense of each other.
The leather
What we put into every piece.
No bonded leather. No materials that look good on arrival and crack six months later. We work with full-grain, top-grain, and buffalo leather. Hides that age well and hold up under real, everyday use.
The stitching, the hardware, the cut. Every decision is made with longevity in mind. A James Leather piece should look better at year five than it did out of the box.
Premium leather only
Full-grain, top-grain, and buffalo. Italian-sourced tanneries. Nothing bonded, nothing that cracks.

Where we're from
Designed in New York. Crafted with care.
Our hides are sourced from tanneries in Italy, selected for character and durability. Our pieces are crafted by artisan workshops in India and Mexico. Everything is designed, packed, and shipped by our team in Middletown, New York.
