I haven't given it to my son yet but I am very jealous. This bag is awesome! It is so easy to get so-so leather but this has that wonderful rustic, catcher mitt smell and feel. It is really hard to get soft leather feel and rugged leather performance combined just right but I think they nailed it. Putting it on my list for next Christmas.

I purchased my second backpack and I am as happy with this as my son is with the first. Customer service is trying hard, so give them a break if you need their assistance. I will be purchasing more leather products from them in the future.
Right size and solidly built. I like the rustic look. Plenty of space for all I carry. My purchase needed some company service intervention and James Leather was on it from the start.

I use the backpack as a shower bag, I am a OTR truck driver and just got tired of buying junk that falls apart with in a couple months, to me it's the best quality I have ever owned. Wish you made sandals with with tire tread I would pay top dollar for a pair. My feet don't like my boots or shoes when I am driving they like fresh air
